Streamline manufacturing by

eliminating waste and cost.

Our primary mandate and mission is to counsel and support American manufacturers in solutions for advanced manufacturing and robotics (LEAN manufacturing) delivering a leading position in global competitiveness

American companies strive to regain global competitiveness and attract back the manufacturing they have lost or moved offshore.  With this push comes a requirement to implement new technologies and approaches that deliver top quality while eliminating waste and cost.  This concept is termed “LEAN Manufacturing”. This month we will look at ways to make production, LEAN.

–>   Servotronix: Multi-Purpose Robots Industrial robots are said to be very well defined in their design and task.  The Robotics Industry Association, RIA, defines them to be:

‘reprogrammable, multifunctional manipulators designed to move material, parts, tools or specialized devices through variable programmed motions for the performance of a variety of tasks.’  But what about “multi-function”? What if a robot could be a router, a 3D printer that accepts G Codes from a CAD-CAM program, a laser measuring and QC device, an ultrasonic welder and an adhesive dispensing device? Futura Automation has the answer to this question.  We can deliver multi-purpose Cartesian robots utilizing the toolsets of Servotronix, Macron Dynamics and Motion Solutions for motor drives, robot controllers and mechanical actuators.
